Face your demons
Have any of you read this book, One Hundred Demons, by Lynda Barry?
I stumbled upon it on the "recommended" shelf at the library, and I do indeed recommend it. It is funny, sad and sweet and deals with such topics as nits, ex-boyfriends, mistreated dogs, people's houses that smell funny and mythical beasts.

Looking for a smell...
Inspired by this awesome blog by Sarah Laing (who's the Sargeson Writer-in-Residence at the moment) I have been drawing a few comic type things. This one's about my quest to find a particular smell, a stupidly difficult task! You might need to click on the picture to make it bigger.
