



I was tidying up (read, wandering around the house looking at things) and I stumbled upon one of my old sketchbooks. So here are some pictures from a couple of sketchbooks ago...maybe I should make a quail print. You know in bird books, how they write down what the bird call is supposed to sound like? I love the way the quail is supposed to say "
Chicago,
tobacco, how
are you?"
I must say I have never heard a quail say that but I'll listen more carefully the next time I see one. Lovely sketches.
