Because it was a (rare these days) sunny afternoon, I did a little photoshoot of some of my favourite sights in Grey Lynn park on my way home from work. When I first moved to Grey Lynn, when I was 18, the area confused me. I called up my friend and said "I don't know how to get to the supermarket." She said "see the church that looks like a cellphone? Follow it and you'll get there." It was great advice, though I wonder if it would look like a cellphone to someone looking at it now.
This path always seems magical.
I walked under the sculpture by Inia Taylor...
Past the one by Richard McWhannell...
Past my favourite house in all of Auckland...
...and then got a ride home the rest of the way. Hope your weekend is full of some of your favourite sights.

Wow! These are amazing. I can't believe they are here in Auckland and that I have never seen them. Thank you for finding all these interesting things and sharing them with us.
